Process

Well, this would be an amazing repeat of the 2000 world series, and yes, the rest of the country would not care, but do we care? NO! The 2000 world series was amazing for me for many reasons. One, I lived in NY at the time and was bartending at the local Chilis where people gathered to watch sports. Second, the Yankees/Mets world series was just something a little NJ girl like me grew up dreaming about. There it was, a dream come true playing out right infront of me as I made Presidente margaritas with my compadres. When the Yankees won the final game that year, people threw big potted plants into the air and almost killed me. There were some fights as well. That is another reason that series will always stick out in my mind. Oh the joy of dodging plants in the air. But my team won and that’s all that matters. This year would be awesome if the Yankees played the Mets in the series, Lord knows I’d rather play them than any of the other contenders. I’d also rather play them than play the A’s, alas that is a different blog. GO YANKEES!

Yeah right JP! There is NO W AY Detroit is going to be in it. Yeah, they’ve had a really good year (for them) but the Yankees are the team to beat this year!! You can take the 4 right into the bronx for the subway series!!! WOO WOO
